National Judicial Competition

The National Judicial Competition (NJC) bring together Youth & Government participants from around the country to face off in mock trial and appellate competitions. The 2026 event will be held in TBD location on TBD dates.

Cost Includes: hotel (quad occupancy), rentals, two dinners, Tuesday night evening activities, and conference printed materials.

Participants must be currently enrolled in grades 10-12 and have participated in OHYG this past conference. Appellate teams must be 2-4 students. Mock Trial teams must be 5-8 students. Check out the video below for more information! Or, visit the NJC website https://www.ymcayag.org/njc/

June 19th @ 5:00 pm – Zoom Practice (optional)
July 9th @ 5:00 pm – Zoom Practice (optional)
July 16th @ 6:00 pm – Parent Zoom Meeting and pre-trip meeting (mandatory)

May 17th – June 7th – Register here!
June 4th – Case materials released and begin team meetings with coaches
June 7th – $75 nonrefundable deposit due
June 14th – $450 Payment Due
July 1st – Medical Release Form Due
July 8th – $475 Final Payment Due
July 28th – Depart for Minneapolis
July 29th – August 1st – Conference & Competition
Aug. 1st – Return to Ohio
