Hello everyone! I have the pleasure to serve as the 2027 Youth Governor of Ohio. This is my fourth and final year of Youth in Government and I can’t wait to have an amazing conference. Through my Youth in Government career, I have participated as a House member, a Supreme Court Justice, the 2026 Attorney General and I am proud to finish this excellent experience as Youth Governor.

I’m looking forward to reading all of the bills submitted and seeing the wonderful ideas our youth are creating in order to make Ohio a better state. Over the summer I attended the Youth Governors conference where I was able to strengthen my leadership while learning about other state programs from my fellow Youth Governors to strengthen Ohio’s program and make it better than before. I also participated in the Conference on National Affairs where I was able to debate National issues and meet people from across the United States where I learned how different issues have varied importance across states.

Outside of Youth in Government, I participate in Model UN, Civics 2.0, Student Council, and Peer Mediation. I also enjoy reading, singing, and dancing. 

Overall, I am really excited to close out my Youth in Government Journey amongst outstanding Presiding Officers and hopefully getting to know all of the delegates more than I have in years past.

Hello! I am one of your Presidents of the Senate for this year’s conference! This is my third year at OHYG, and I am a senior from the Lima Senior delegation. One thing I love most about this conference is all of the great debates that happen, and I can’t wait to hear about everybody’s bills in the Senate! I’m hoping to create a good, fun environment in the Senate where every voice can be heard, to create the best debates possible. At last year’s conference, I was a committee chair, and had a lot of fun doing it!

Outside of YG, I am heavily involved in music, and love to watch baseball and racing. I have gained leadership skills from being the drum major of our school’s band. I play many instruments, but my main instrument is piano. I have competed internationally for piano, and plan on going to college as a piano performance major. I am also in our school’s top 2 choirs, as well as our Tri-M Music Honor’s Society’s president. I am truly excited to meet and get to know everyone!

Hello! I am one of your Presidents of the Senate for 2027! I am super excited to meet everyone, and to hear what new ideas you bring to the table! My job will be to make sure everyone in the Senate is heard and represented effectively. This is my second year involved in Youth and Government.

Outside of this program, I am involved in soccer, lacrosse, Key Club, Red Cross, NHS, and DECA at my school. Outside of this I enjoy reading, shopping, and hanging out with my friends. I can’t wait to meet everyone soon!

Hello! I am so excited to serve as one of your Speakers of the House this year! I am a senior from the Wellston delegation, and this will be my fourth and final year as a delegate in Youth and Government.

I have been in the legislature for three years, which allowed me to create a passion for government, law, and debate. To me, presiding as Speaker of the House means that I must stay unbiased, calling on people from all sides of the room and ensuring that everyone, pro or con, has the opportunity to speak up and advocate for their side. I also want to ensure that all bills are allowed adequate debate time, as well as the chance to be presented.

Aside from YAG, I love to write, run, paint, read, meet new people, advocate for issues I find concerning, hangout with my friends, and travel to places I have never been while exploring the places I have been. I am stoked to create experiences that live in your memory forever, connect with you, lead you in debate, and make this the best conference yet! I am absolutely a friend to all so make sure to say hi when you see me around!

Hello! I am so excited to serve as one of your Speakers of the House for 2027! I’m a junior from the Mansfield Delegation, and this is my fifth year at Youth and Government. I love this program because no matter how long you’ve been a delegate, you never stop learning, and there is always someone new to meet.

Outside of YAG, I play soccer, watch Formula One with my family, and enjoy journaling. This year, I’m excited for the opportunity to serve the House and uphold the strong standards of leadership within the program. I can’t wait to meet you all and hear your ideas!

Hi! I’m so excited to be the 2027 Attorney General!

Last year was my first year and I’m sad I didn’t join earlier. I was on the Supreme Court and I can truly say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Making new friends and stepping into a role I soon hope to actually be in.

I’ve always had love for the law and I aspire to be a lawyer and some day elected to be a judge. I can’t wait to meet new people and have another great year! One interesting fact about me is I play three instruments and sing.

Hi, I’m honored to serve as Head Lobbyist for the 2026–2027 Ohio Youth and Government conference! This will be my second year with the program — I served as a lobbyist last year and had such an incredible experience that I knew I wanted to come back and help shape the program for others. I’m especially excited to build out a new delegation at Columbus School for Girls and to help fellow lobbyists find real impact and confidence in their voices at conference.

Outside of YG, I served this past year on the Youth Ambassador Board for the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, and I was a research intern with The Matriots, a political action committee dedicated to supporting women candidates — an experience that showed me firsthand the impact women in office can have across Central Ohio and beyond. I’m passionate about history, both domestic and foreign, and I love traveling to learn how different governments and communities operate. I also work at Broad Street Presbyterian Church as an education assistant, where I spend a lot of my time supporting our food pantry, which serves hundreds of families downtown each day. When I’m not doing any of that, you can find me on the golf course — I’ve played on my school’s varsity team for four years and golf year-round.

I can’t wait to work with all of you this year!

Hello everyone, I will be serving as your 2027 OHYG Editor in Chief! This will be my third and final year as a Youth & Government delegate and my second year as a media delegate, and I am so thrilled to see what this year’s conference has in store for us. As Editor in Chief, I preside over when and how information will get to you delegates, and I hold the responsibility of creating a particularly unique and creative vision for the media team so that together, the content we create truly portrays each and every part of the conference in their own light. I want to make sure that this is especially true for our lesser-known and newer program areas so that they can grow and so that every delegate feels represented.

As well as the state conference, I have also had the honor of representing the state of Ohio at CONA (Conference on National Affairs) this past summer.

Outside of Y&G, I love being an active member in my community! I am involved in my school’s choir, theater, ambassador’s club, and St. Vincent de Paul club, and I am also a regular volunteer at my church. During my free time, I love to read, draw, listen to my records, play bass guitar, and learn about historical fashion. I look forward to working with & meeting you all at conference!!
