    • Students should apply if they would like to be considered for Governor’s Cabinet, Lobbyists, Media, Oversight or Secretary of State program areas. They can also apply to be a clerk/vice-chair for the Legislative program area.

  • State Assembly Registration Closes
    • Due February 12, 2027
  • Financial Aid Applications Closes

  • Appellate Court Team Confirmation Form
    • Due February 12, 2027
    • Let us know how many teams your delegation will be bringing and the names of the students on each team.

March

  • Payment Deadline
    • Due March 12, 2027
    • Your invoice must be paid by this deadline in order to attend the 2027 State Assembly.
  • Rooming
    • Due March 12, 2027
    • Indicate how you would like your students housed at conference.
  • Bill Submission
    • Due March 12, 2027
    • All bills must be submitted by this deadline to be printed in our conference book. Bills will be accepted after this deadline, but delegations must bring copies of the bill.
  • Student Codes of Conduct
    • Due March 12, 2027
    • Students and their parents must complete a Jotform Code of Conduct and Release Form. Completion can be verified in your roster.
  • Adult Codes of Conduct
    • Due March 12, 2027
    • All adults must complete a Jotform Code of Conduct and Release Form. Completion can be verified in your roster.
  • Background Check
    • Due March 12, 2027
    • All adults (and students who will be 18 at the time of the conference) must complete a background check here. Completion can be verified in your roster.
    • An email with the link for your background check has been sent from Praesidium to the email you registered for State Assembly with.

April

  • Final Roster Adjustments Due
    • Due April 2, 2027
    • All adjustments to your roster must be submitted by this date. No additions will be accepted after this date.
  • Parent Meeting
    • Must be completed no later than April 4, 2027
    • Delegations must share the slideshow linked above, but you can make a copy and add your own slides if desired.

Form Submission Tracker

Check the Delegation Tracker (link sent to you via email) weekly to make sure all the required paperwork has been submitted, that your registration roster is correct, that you bill submission is correct and that your rooming submission is correct. Codes of Conduct and Background Check submissions can be found on your Delegation Roster. If you think something is incorrect or missing, please email yg@ohioymcas.org to have the issue corrected.
